Who receives these messages

Text alerts are sent only to the business owner and employees of Crescent Watch Guys. They notify staff that a customer has submitted an inquiry form on crescentwatchguys.com so we can respond quickly. Messages are never sent to customers, website visitors or the general public, and contain no marketing or promotional content.

How consent is collected (verbal)

Before a staff member's mobile number is added to the alert list, the business owner reads the following script to them in person and records their agreement, the date and the phone number in our internal staff records:

"Crescent Watch Guys will send automated text alerts to your mobile number whenever a customer submits an inquiry on our website. Alerts include the customer's name, contact details and the watch they asked about. You'll receive roughly 1–5 messages per day. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving alerts, or HELP for help. Do you agree to receive these alerts at this number?"

Only numbers of staff who answer "yes" are added. Participation is not a condition of employment.

Message frequency

Varies with website inquiries, typically 1–5 messages per day.
